I am Kalpita, cake artist, founder, and the creative heart behind Color Drama Cakes, and a proud mother of two beautiful girls.

My journey into cake artistry began over 14 years ago as a creative outlet while balancing motherhood. What started as baking for family and friends slowly grew into a deep passion for designing cakes that felt artistic, meaningful, and unforgettable.

Completely self taught, I spent years refining my craft, learning structure, technique, and sugar artistry through dedication and practice. From delicate handmade sugar flowers to bold architectural designs, every cake I create reflects both precision and emotion.

After moving from Sydney to Texas, I rebuilt my business with determination and heart, bringing my love for elegant, statement making cakes into a new community. Today, Color Drama Cakes is a boutique studio known for stylish luxury designs that are as refined in flavor as they are in appearance.

In addition to custom cakes, I conduct cake decorating classes and host curated high tea experiences, creating beautiful spaces where creativity, learning, and celebration come together.

For me, cake is more than dessert. It is part of life’s most meaningful celebrations. I pour care into every creation so each client feels truly seen, valued, and celebrated.
